Please read the warning before use. All official skis sold by Snowfeet company are referred to as “Snowfeet*” throughout this document. This applies to all the other products manufactured or sold by Snowfeet s.r.o.
WARNING: Not suitable for children under 7 years of age. Snowfeet* must be kept out of their reach. Keep the product packaging away from children; there is a danger of suffocation if the bag is pulled over the head. All users, including children and adults, must wear protective footwear, gear, and a helmet when using Snowfeet*. The safety of children using Snowfeet* is the sole responsibility of the supervising adult, and Snowfeet s.r.o. assumes no liability for lack of proper supervision. SNOWFEET S.R.O. ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF SNOWFEET*.
Particularly for beginners or under certain weather and snow conditions, turning and stopping with Snowfeet* skis requires practice and specific techniques. Therefore, unless you are an advanced Snowfeet* user, we strongly advise against using Snowfeet* on steep slopes. Find a slope that is not too steep and has a long, flat run-out area at the bottom to safely glide to a stop. Avoid slopes that end near streets, parking lots, ponds, trees, fences, or other hazards. Make sure the path is free of bumps, rocks, poles, or trees. Always wear protective gear and a helmet. Always choose a safe location to use Snowfeet*.
There is an inherent danger of injury when a person using Snowfeet* exceeds a speed that allows for safe control on snow. When using Snowfeet*, ski and slide slowly and carefully. Snowfeet* should only be used on a sufficient layer of snow, on slopes and terrain that the user has verified to be free of obstacles, and under adult supervision. Beware of other people and obstacles while using Snowfeet*. Do not use Snowfeet* skis shorter than 50 cm in powder snow deeper than 15 cm (6 inches). Do not use Snowfeet* on extremely steep slopes, ice, frozen surfaces, or any other dangerous terrain. Use the heel brake carefully; braking with the heel brake or “pizza brake” alone is not sufficient for a complete stop. The heel brake or “pizza brake” is designed solely for reducing speed, not for stopping. Users must master the “hockey stop” technique to achieve a complete stop.
The Snowfeet* products are manufactured from various materials, such as plastic, glass-fiber-reinforced plastic, wood, aluminum etc. Do not use the product if it is damaged. Do not expose the product to temperatures over 40 °C (104 °F) or under -20 °C (-4 °F), as these extreme temperatures can cause irreversible damage to this product.
There is a risk of sustaining cuts from the metal edges located on the base of Snowfeet*. Be careful and use protective gloves when handling or touching the metal edges. Fasten the bindings firmly to your shoes before each ride; otherwise, they might slip off during use. Always wear quality, waterproof boots with ankle support for proper protection (such as ski boots, snowboard boots, or cross-country ski boots, depending on the model you purchased). Make sure your boots are securely fixed in the Snowfeet* bindings. Do not wear shoe sizes other than those officially recommended on our website: www.snowfeetstore.com.
DISCLAIMER: Some bindings are non-releasable depending on the model you use (e.g., snowboard boot bindings), which means they won’t pop off during a fall. Unlike releasable bindings, non-releasable bindings do not release automatically; this must be taken into account during a fall. The use of non-releasable bindings may increase the risk of lower leg injuries, especially among children if they are not used properly.
Before every use, it is your responsibility to check all screw connections and ensure that all screws are properly tightened and bindings are securely fixed to the Snowfeet* product. If you want to use Snowfeet* with smaller shoe sizes, select a different hole on the strap and adjust the bindings using a screwdriver. Then, if necessary, trim the remaining part of the strap.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the screws, nuts, and bindings are in a safe and functional condition before every use of Snowfeet* on snow. Please note that Snowfeet* components may wear out and the screws or nuts may corrode over time. Keep the screws, nuts, and metal edges dry after each use to prevent rusting. Before long-term storage, wipe the metal edges with oil.
Any disputes arising from the use or purchase of Snowfeet* products shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Czech Republic and resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic.
WARRANTY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK: The warranty is only applicable to Snowfeet* products that show no signs of use, modification, or damage.
